Regional Pre-Service Teachers' Congress 2024

The MLG College of Learning, Inc. Student Interns participated in the Regional Pre-Service Teachers’ Congress 2024 initiated by the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) on March 22, 2024, at the HRDC Hall of Leyte Normal University, Tacloban City, Leyte. The event highlighted dedication to excellence in education by empowering 4th-year Education students and teachers to face the challenges of a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) world. Engaging with industry experts and staying informed about the latest developments in the education sector are among the objectives of the activity, which play a pivotal role in preparing the graduating students for their future careers as educators.

Another highlight of the event was the couch session with the topnotchers from Region 8. One of them was Mr. Argie Barraca, an MLGCL Alumni who ranked 6th place in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers. They shared useful tips on taking the licensure examination, emphasizing the importance of preparation before taking the exam.

The Student Interns’ participation was guided by the school administrators headed by the School Director, Dr. Mary Lilibeth O. Yan, College Dean, Dr. Gaudencio B. Abayhon, the Head of the Education Program, Dr. Adelaida T. Millanes, the SAS Coordinator, Mr. Arniel P. Viscara, the Clinic Assistant, Ms. Christine A. Aniscal, and Mrs. Annie Jean M. Rosales, High School Faculty.
